'One morning, Anika is watching television. When she opened the TV, it was showing a clip
of cartoon show. She laughed as the cat tries to catch the mouse but get into many troubles while running
after it. She enjoyed watching the show.
2Soon, the show began. "Good morning, Kapamilya! This is Good Morning, Pilipinas!", said
the host of the TV show. "There have been an estimated 3000 people who got positive with COVID-19
yesterday, according to the Department of Health. The government is telling the public to stay at home
especially children, pregnant and senior citizens," the host added.
3The host continued, "Everybody should learn to always wash their hands, use face masks
and face shields and practice social distancing. We need to follow the protocols to prevent the virus from
spreading. We need to follow and obey."
4 Anika shared with her sister Mika what she learned from the television. She taught Mika
how to wash her hands. She told her that she should put her hands under running water. Then, get the
soap, lather her hands, and scrub for at least 20 seconds or after singing two "Happy Birthday song.
After that, she can rinse her hands and dry with clean towel. Mika was happy to learn this. "Thank you,
Ate Anika, I will always wash my hands," said Mika.
