Below are statements that describe ways in which people can help
conserve resources. Write YES on the line if the statement is correct and NO on the
line if the statement is incorrect.
Yes 1. Instead of deforestation, representation should keep in mind. We should
help the Government in various plantation programs. Everybody should also
take part in planting and caring the plants.
2. People should at once stop the over utilization of natural resources; thus,
they must be properly used.
No 3. We should not make waste disposal, composting and restoring biodiversity
a habit.
4. Mixed cropping, crop rotation, and proper use of fertilizers, insecticides and
pesticides should be taught to farmers. Encourage also the use of manures
bio-fertilizers and organic fertilizers.
5. We must develop energy saving methods to avoid wastage of energy. We
should remember "energy saved is energy produced.
6. Use drip and sprinkling irrigations to improve irrigation efficiency and reduce
evaporation
7. Utilize renewable energy sources as much as possible. Encourage also the
use of solar cooker, pump, and others.
8. We should recycle the wastes and waste water for agriculture purposes.
9. Reduce excess packaging (drink tap water instead of water from plastic
bottles).
