?
And why it is that if
[tex]A \in B[/tex]
and
[tex]B \subset C[/tex]
, then why not
[tex]A \nsubseteq C [/tex]
??

Here A is not subset of C because 1 is an element of A but not of C
Note that {1} is an element of C its not 1 it is {1}
