Helen Keller was an indefatigable woman whose life inspired and continues to inspire many. Each and every hurdle that came up in her life,Helen faced head on and with determination. The event in her life that inspired and touched me the most was how she learnt to speak. Being a deaf and blind child, speaking seemed like an insurmountable and unconquerable mountain in her life.Yet she achieved something seemed impossible to all.She persevered and finally she conquered even that mountain. There might have been times during her speech lessons when she felt hopeless; but she never gave up despite what the society said, despite what her parents might have said, despite what she herself might have sometimes thought. She wasn't complacent and wasn't satisfied with just writing or conveying through sign language; she wanted to speak like a normal person. And that's just what she did. The main reason i admire Helen Keller is because she conquered whatever she set her mind to.Only she could summarize her life so well:- "I came, I saw, I conquered."
