1) In our body, all physical movement relies with the compound Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP).ATP is stored in the muscles which is immediately available to produce movement however storage of ATP in the muscle is unlimited so any movement that lasts longer than a few seconds requires more ATP to be produced.

2)The ATP-CPR System is based from movements lasting about 5-15 seconds, such as strength-power movements, like golf-swings,jumps,throwing or racket serves.

3) This first type of quick movements can be done with ATP stored in the muscles or any quick burst such as sprint, ATP will provide the energy alone for 4-6 seconds with the compound called creating phosphate (PCr) offering ATP up to 10 more seconds.

4)Glycolytic system produces energy quickly, but not a long duration. This system relies at the breakdown of fats.

5)Glucose which is one the basic forms of protein, is constantly circulating in the bloodstream and glycogen is stored form of glucose in the muscles delivered.

6)Glucose and Glycogen is broken down to create ATP through a process called Glycolysis.​
