Why Filipinos still live with their parents even they get married and have their own families?
Usually, Filipinos are used to admire and thank their parents for being there to guide, teach, and love and accept them, when they were just kids and knows nothing about life.
Here are some reasons why I think Filipinos still live with their parents even they're already marital;
For their parents to feel glad and avoid deep thoughts
Usually, older peoples tend to overthink life. When a person who's already old and their children got married already, they tend to feel lonely and then question themselves about the thought. One reason why married Filipinos still live with their family is that. They want their parents to feel like they appreciate their efforts while they're still alive and want them to be pleased and prevent deep thoughts.
A not prepared or unplanned marriage
Some Filipinos tend to decide quickly so sometimes their marriage wasn't planned and was unexpected. To save things and for it to be easy for them they're deciding to live with their parents until they save enough money to be able to carry responsibilities and to live alone.
To avoid deep fights
When a couple is living together with the parents of one, they are avoiding intense fight that could result in an unusual decision like an annulment or else because of the elders that could advise and guide them.
Be close with each member
Living together makes it easy for each member to bond. So when they're living in one house, they could have the time to bond and be close with each other. They could talk and express themselves freely.
Why Filipinos still live with their parents even they get married and have their own families?
ANSWER
This is because family in the Philippines is something beyond the term "parentage" and or in science "taxonomic hierarchy".
HISTORY
Some important factors are the culture and our ancestors. The very first Filipino people that lived in the country were bound or grouped together, this was in order for them to survive and live effectively in the harsh and unknown environment during their time. Because of this, relationship and kinship between these groups developed and grew stronger, that's why until today Filipino people used to care and recognize the members of their bloodline, no matter how distant they are.
FILIPINO FAMILY
Basically, kinship in the Philippines is very strong and a symbol of respect because of our history and culture, that's why Filipinos still live with their parents even they get married and have their own families. But I'm not saying this should always be practiced, it is stillactuallybetter to separàte with you parents when you are already married, because you now have your own family to groom and feed.
