in both the cases if the water in which both the cells are placed is if hypotonic to the plant cell then endoosmosis occur in that condition the animal cell will be burst due to lack of cellwall unlike of plant cell
but
if the water is hypertonic to both the cells in which they are placed then in both conditions cell will be flaccid and exoosmosis occur
