Since humans form the top of any food chain, humans always have the highest concentration of the chemicals. This is a disadvantage.

HK281 Biological magnification :it is a phenomenon of progressive increase in the concentration of toxicant at each successive trophic level .

.e. g. pesticides like DDT ,sprinkled on plants enter the body of human beings through the food chain .

in this manner the toxic Chemicals into the food chain .SDS Chemicals are non biodegradable they get accumulated in organise my body and their concentration goes on increasing at which tropic level .the maximum concentration of this Chemicals get accumulated in human body because they occupy the top most places in any function .

because of accumulation of harmful chemicals it can harm us in many ways such as damage of nervous system etc.
