Viruses are neither of them as they are an exception to cell theory. They are basically non living but when they enter a host they become living. i hope it was helpful

Viruses are neither prokaryotic nor eukaryotic. It is said that they are the boundary between living things and non living things. They are obligate parasites. They become active only after entering a host cell and takes over its machinary for multiplication and therby killing the host cell.
