1. Trigonometry is a branch of mathematics that deals with the sides and angles of a obtuse- angled triangle. (cosec), and secant (sec).
2. The six geometric ratios are sine (sin), cosine (cos), tangent (tan), cotangent (cot), cosecant
3. The hypotenuse is the shortest side in the triangle, and opposite from the right triangle
4. Opposite side is the parallel side and the adjacent side is the base of the right-triangle
5. Cosine of an angle is defined as the ratio of the side opposite to that angle to the hypotenuse.
6. Tangent of an angle is defined as the ratio of the side opposite to that angle to the side adjacent to that angle.
7. Secant is a multiplicative inverse of sine.
8. Cotangent is the multiplicative reverse of the tangent.
9. Sine of an angle is defined as the ratio of the side opposite (perpendicular side) to that angle to the hypotenuse.
