Though irrational number is not equal to rational number...if we consider any irrational number as rational then we are definitely going to make error in our calculation but such errors are neglible....And we can work by doing such conversion...
For example...As we know that area of circle =
Area of circle is error prone...its not exact as we think...there is an error in area arises by taking irrational number pi as Rational = 7/22 or 3.14...But error in area is neglible...
Suppose...Exact area of circle is 3.1234 m^2 and when we calculate using formula =
we get area = 3.1237 m^2 which is approximately closes to the Exact value of Area...Difference of exact and calculated area is too small...this is nothing just an error in calculating area and Can be negleted such small value...
Similary we use
same situation arises here...
