Dip-slip fault is a fault that move along the surface. 5. Intensity and magnitude describe the strength of the Earthquake. 6. The starting point of an earthquake is called focus. 7. Magnitude is usually expressed in Hindu Arabic numerals which reflects the energy released in a quake. 8. The point on earth's surface directly above the hypocenter is called epicenter. 9. Intensity of an earthquake is determined by observing the effects of it in different places. 10. After a strong earthquake tsunami always occur and coastal areas are swamped with deadly waves.​
