Process of Protein Synthesis  

First ( gene transcription )

• Enzyme RNA polymerase will bind to the promoter region of the gene in order to make mRNA from that region.

Then

• The created mRNA sequence out of the gene region will be modified in order make matured mRNA.

Afterwards

• The created matured mRNA will goes out the nucleus of the cell going to the cytoplasm.

Next ( Translation )

• The created mRNA will be used as template in order to synthesize specific protein from the codons of the tRNA. Protein synthesis occurs in the ribosomes.

Finally

• The created protein ( segments of amino acids ) will be utilized by  the body.

Gene expression:

Is the process in which DNA is used as template in order to make mRNA which is the basis in making protein. It is divided into two processes, gene transcription and translation. Gene transcription creates mRNA while gene translation is the creation of protein.
