Activity 4. Below are the underlined jumbled letters. Re-arrange the underlined jumbled letter to form a word or group of words that
will name the cleaning compound that being described opposite the scrambled letters. Write your answer in the blank provided before
each number
1. STENGRETED – These are cleaning agents, solvents or any substance used to wash tableware's, surfaces, and
equipment. Example: soap, soap powders, cleaners, acid, volatile solvents and abrasives.
2. VENTLOS Cleaners commonly referred to as degreasers, they are used on surfaces where grease has burned on.
These products are alkaline based and are formulated to dissolve grease.
3. DIAC Cleaners used periodically in removing minerals deposits and other soils that detergents cannot eliminate such
as scale in washing machines and steam tables, lime buildup on dishwashing machines and rust on shelving. (EXAMPLE phosphoric acid,
