1__Taweret
At first sight the goddess Taweret, ‘the great female one’, appears to be composed of randomly selected animal parts.
2__Bes
Bes was another god who brought comfort and protection to mothers and children.
3__Neith
Neith is a warrior or a hunter. Human-form and bald, she wears a crown and carries a bow and arrows.
4__The Aten
If Taweret and Ammit seem to have too many body parts, the god known simply as the Aten, or ‘the sun disk’, does not seem to have enough.
5__Sekhmet
Many of us are familiar with Hathor, the gentle cow-headed sky goddess associated with motherhood, nurturing and drunkenness.
6__Khepri
Khepri, ‘the one who comes into being’, is the morning sun.
7__Renenutet
Renenutet was a cobra goddess. The Egyptian cobra can grow to be nine feet long and can, when angry or threatened, raise a third of its body from the ground, and expand its ‘hood’ (cervical ribs).

Anubis is the protector of the gates to the Underworld, Osiris replaced him as the god of the dead. He looks like a man with the head of a jackal (a scavenging and hunting animal, native to Africa, that is closely related to wolves). Anubis, as the god of the afterlife, was closely associated with mummification and burial rites.
Atum was the creator of everything in ancient Egyptian mythology. He represented the very first history; nothing existed yet except for him. According to the myth, he rose up out of the chaotic waters of Nu and used his own female side to create Shu (air) and Tefnut (moisture). For a while, his two children were lost at sea. Atum sent his removable eye, the Udjat Eye, to go look for them. When they returned, Atum cried tears of joy. Where these tears hit the ground is where men formed. Out of the two elements water and air, the other gods and goddesses were born. The Egyptians believed he was the father of all the gods. Atum was first the partner of the earth then the partner of the setting sun.
Mut was an ancient Egyptian goddess. Mut meant mother in the ancient Egyptian language. Her name can also be spelled Maut or Mout. She is associated with the waters from which everything was born. Some of Mut's many titles included World-Mother, Eye of Ra, Queen of the Goddesses, Lady of Heaven, Mother of the Gods, and She Who Gives Birth, But Was Herself Not Born of Any.
Ra was the god of the sun. He was the most important god in Ancient Egypt. He had many names, such as Amun-Ra, and Ra-Horakhty. It was said he was born each morning in the East, and died each night in the West. In the night he traveled through the underworld. This is why the west side of the Nile was known as the land of the dead. He was the king of the gods.
Nephthys was a goddess with wide power and capacity, and she was often referred to as "The Excellent Goddess." She could also be dangerous, able to kill the enemies of the king with her fiery breath. In this capacity, she was considered a protector of the king. Nephthys was not only a goddess of death, decay, and darkness but also a magician with great healing powers.
Ma'at, is goddess of law, morality, and justice. Ma'at was supposed the stars, seasons, and the actions of both people and gods. Her first role in Egyptian mythology was the weighing of words that took place in the underworld, Duat.
