I'm not sure about this answer but I think it's because Jesus Christ was a real human being. he has proof that he was real and he had so many followers at that time till now but since it was a long time ago many people change their perspective about him and his teachings. they teach very differently than each other since they have different beliefs yet they still believe in Jesus because they have proof that he was actually real yet they didn't saw God the father of Jesus and all they know about him all because of Jesus's teachings yet they hadn't actually seen him and all they have was Jesus's teachings to prove his existance. Each Religion has different views on Jesus's teachings they all have read the same Bible the same words Jesus said but they all have different views and perspectives on what Jesus meant. and that's why there's multiple Religions that are esatablished by Jesus but they are so different.
