Out of all the people surveyed from both countries, China and the United States, the average importance on a scale of 1-10 was an 8. The average time spent listening to music ranked 1-10 was an 8. Overall, the research proved that music is an internationally important aspect of culture. For many of the people surveyed, they said that music was a huge part of their life.
