Which does not belong to the group?Translocation, Insertion, Substitution,Inversion?
ANSWER
Insertiondoesnotbelongtothegroup.
The one that is different is insertion, because the word insertion means "to insert or to add something", whilst words like translocation, substitution and inversion all indicates movement, changes or the act of moving from one place to another.

Hi. I think this user is referring for the different types of mutation and the odd one is "translocation". Insertion is a type of point mutation.

So deletion, substitution and insertion are all point mutation, and inversion belongs to chromosomal mutation. Thank you

No worries. But who knows? Your answer is technically correct (the explanation is on point) I actually had a second thought and contemplate what if this user is not asking for "types of mutation"? Now, this question seems to be ambiguous.

Yes, but I reckon your answer makes more sense, since this question was posted in biology subject :>
