hey guys think and answer my question
in NCERT class 12 biology text book in the lesson molecular basis of inheritance:
in this lesson it is said that DNA is non reactive and it is a stable molecule.

if we look at organic chemistry that methyl group(CH3) is highly reactive group
and again if e look at Structure of DNA the nitrogen base thymine highly reactive methyl group is present then
how can we say DNA is a stable molecule
