The Simpler Difference is given under the heading *In Easier Language* :,
Here is the answer :
Veins are the blood vessels which bring blood to heart, In general veins bring de-oxygenated blood, But pulmonary vein brings Oxygenated blood to the Heart,
Why?
Pulmonary is nothing but the lungs, The lungs Always give oxygen to the blood by taking CO2, So we can expect Oxygenated blood from Pulmonary veins,
Arteries are the blood vessels which take away blood from heart to the specified organs of our body, In general They take Oxygenated blood, Because our body organs need Oxygen,
But pulmonary artery takes De-oxygenated blood,
Why?
because Pulmonary is nothing but lungs again, Lungs have to take out CO2 from the body, So, Pulmonary artery takes de-oxygenated blood !.
Now, Let's talk about Heart,
Heart contains 4 chamber, Right and left Auricle or Atrium, Right and left Ventricle,
Atrium is the first in both the sides,
Atrium takes blood from the respective blood vessels, Right atrium takes de-oxygenated blood,
Left Atrium takes oxygenated blood,
After the Atrium, There is ventricle on both sides,
Ventricles take blood from The Atria,
Then the blood is pushed away to Aorta and Pulmonary arteries and is pumped to the organs !.
*In Easier Language* :
Veins are blood vessels that transport blood, And ventricles are chambers in heart,
Arteries are also the blood vessels which Transport blood, Where as Atria are chamber of heart again !.
Hope you understand, If you have any doubts still, Please do feel free to ask in comments section :D,
