She guards and transmits their teaching and witness. 4. The Church is one because of her soul, the Holy Spirit. 5. The Christian vocation is, of its nature, a vocation to the apostolate as well 6. Christ loved the Church as his Bride and gave himself up for her, to make her holy. 7. the Holy Spirit graces her with the fullness of the means of salvation and holiness. 8. When the Christian Faith is accepted by a people, they bring their own cultural heritage to bear. 9. The Church believes in unity-in-diversity, like the sheepfold of Jesus, the Good Shepherd 10. The Church as People of God fosters and takes to herself the abilities, resources, and customs of each people.​
