The Philippines is currently using multiple sources of energy to generate electricity. These include geothermal wind, and hydropower energy. These energy sources are considered renewable and environmentally friendly. Aside from these sources, the country also uses fossil fuels, mainly coal, oil, and diesel, to generate electricity as well. Compared to renewable energy sources fossil fuels can generate a large amount of electricity in a single power plant, in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, and environmental impact which should the country choose as the main source of energy for generating electricity? Why?​
