It is the transfer of pollen grains from the anthers of flowers of one plant, to the stigma of a flower of another plant of the same species. It requires agents like wind, water and insects. It's said - "Nature favours Xenogamy. " because of : 1. Unisexuality. 2. Dichogamy. 3. Self-Sterelity. 4. Herkogamy. 5. Heterostyly.
