Dance is exercise, so the physical benefits of dancing will be similar to that of other cardio activities. Dancing is a whole-body workout that's actually fun. It's good for your heart, it makes you stronger, and it can help with balance and coordination. Music is not a necessity to creating dance! music can be used as inspiration, another layer in the creation of the dance and can enhance the atmosphere the dance is trying to create.
