Activity Making Wet Mount TRUE OR FALSE.
Write the word TRUE if the statement is correct and write FALSE if the statement is wrong. Write your answer on a separate sheet of paper.
1. Specimens should be small and thin for light to pass through.
2. Water act as a mounting medium that makes the image of the specimen dear.
3. To remove the bubbles just gently tap the cover slip with the pencil.
4. Add one drop of water to the specimen.
5. Place the specimen at the center of a glass slide in a downward position.
6. Position the cover ship at 45 degrees with one side touching one edge of the water on the slide.
7. Cover the specimen with the cover slip.
8. A specimen is any sample or material for study or examination under the microscope.
9. Sowly lower the other edge of the slide to remove the bubbles. 10. Make the bubble move towards the edge of the cover slip by tapping with the eraser-end of a pencil.
