Dear Aunt,
I hope this letter finds you in soaring spirits and vibrant health. I am writing this letter to share with you a very horrible and shocking incident that I witnessed while returning from school one day. It happened on Saturday. As we were returning home in the school bus, a black car overtook and stopped in front of us. Three armed men, their faces covered up to their noses barged into our bus. One man pointed the gun at the driver ensuring the driver did not speed the bus away, and the other two pointing guns towards the students headed towards my seat. I got scared to death fearing the worst. One of them asked my friend, Namita sitting beside me to get up and move quietly out of the bus to the black car. Scared and panicked as she was, she tried to put up resistance, but in vain. One of the men hit her on the face, she fell unconscious on the seat. They carried her to the car and sped away.
The driver immediately called the school authorities who further informed the police. Within seconds the police cars with blaring sirens surrounded the bus. The inspector asked me about their description. I tried to describe as much as I could. Many parents reached the spot as the news spread like fire throughout the city. My parents also reached within no time. They heaved a sigh of relief when saw me safe.
In the evening the kidnappers were caught. Since all the police check-points had been alerted about the black car, they could not go away far. Later on it was found the kidnapping had been done with the purpose of a huge ransom. I forgot to tell, Namita belongs to one of the richest industrialists in the city. The entire incident had a deep impact on me. I have not been able to forget it till now. I thought I must share it with you. The rest is fine. Do visit us soon please.
