Emphasis - it is the main idea, main focus, or the thing your eyes sees first
Harmony and unity - it is the similar element throughout a work of art that brings the part together.
Contrast - It is the differences in the work of art (light versus dark), (rough versus Smooth), (curve line versus straight line)
Pattern - It is the repetition of specific visual elements such as a unit of shape or form. (Lines, shapes and color)
Proportion - (Scale) it is the size of something compared to what is next to it.
Rhythm - (Movement) it is a visual elements in the work that create a sense of action or implied motion
