When COVID-19 came to our lives, new challenges and uncertainties arises. Different industries has been affected. This has also, left the education system struggling. Both teachers and students faced problems embracing the new normal. As a student, I have encountered several struggles. First, financial problems. This has been the major problem for all since finances has been affected. We need to prioritize our food first, so other necessities came out to be a less priority. Second, the transition to online learning and modular learning. While we are accustomed to go to school everyday, this new mode of learning definitely looses motivation to study. With so much interruptions from the news, lack of resources, internet connectivity and everything going around us, this is considered to be the biggest struggle. There may be a lot, but these are the common problems students are facing during the pandemic.
Above all, despite this pandemic, I am thankful as I have learned life lessons. I have realized that there is no amount of money can take the time you spend with your loved ones. I have learned to value every single penny that I have. To not to take my health for granted as it is our wealth. To be grateful even in the smallest things. To take of your mental health, as this pandemic gives us worries and stress. And lastly, to realize that there is no place like home - and that home is your family.
