There was a girl (Lets call her X) whom I hated for many reasons( lets not detail it here) when I was in eleventh grade. The next year she fought with her friends(for god knows why) and she came to our place and sat with me and my peeps. I was kind of astonished as to why she came here because I always thought that hate feeling was mutual between us. I couldn't trust her and used to tell my another friend(Lets call her B) not to trust her too but I'm sure B liked her.Fast forward to two months later:I got used to her (Literally, USED TO). She got into our gang and I felt nothing wrong though after she was gone somewhere, I and my friends used to talk behind her back as to how boring she was. We all agreed to this how she used to bore us with her non-stop stories.Then we got closer. I started seeing her in a different perspective. I thought she was BAD (I know, I exaggerate) a year ago and contrary to my belief, all I saw was a sweet and innocent little girl( She is kinda too short). I saw that shehad a knack of making the most boring stories interesting with her tone. I liked her playful nature . I'm kind of introverted but I started opening up when I was around her( This probably sounds like a love story, doesn't it?). We had a lot of fun when she was around, or I had a lot of fun when she was around.Then me and B had a rift because of X. But I felt X was right and I stood for her. I ended my 8 year old friendship with B . And till this date, I never ever regretted that decision.I ,my another friend and X were very close. But after twelfth grade she'll be leaving the city immediately. Though it was just like half a year of friendship, she's one of the rarest people in my life that reminded me that the first impression need not necessarily be the best impression.( This sounds little cliched , I know, but its true to my heart)
