It is known, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused many losses in various sectors, including the culinary world. Ranging from street vendors to large-scale restaurants are also affected. Even so, this did not dampen the intention of restaurant owners in Malaysia to distribute "without charge" rice for those in need. In fact, the number is up to 600 boxes per day. The restaurant owner and his family decided to help those in need by distributing "without charge" food.
Meanwhile, in the Philippines, there is a police officer who has set aside part of his salary during the pandemic. Not for his own sake, this salary that was set aside then he bought an ambulance to donate to his place of birth. The ambulance was given "without charge" of charge to the local Village Government for handling COVID-19 and serving the community in other health fields.
Furthermore, another inspirational story came from a fan of the Theater show in New York, America, named Michael Bednark. He had to be willing to close his business to follow local government regulations in order to suppress the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic at the beginning of the 2020 pandemic.
This makes 120 employees who are used to providing displays for well-known shoe brands to be laid off until only 4 people remain. But in such conditions, he still struggles to help health workers suppress the pandemic. He produced 2.7 million "without charge" face shields to be distributed to local health workers when the pandemic first hit in 2020 in America. This step then opens up new opportunities for people to return to work.
