Personally as a person with less experience in exercises, avoiding injuries are one of the main precautions I look out when training or exercising. Overworking is one of the main things I stay away from, I always stay hydrated when I feel tired and stop working. When the exercise is about stretching, I don't exert too much force because it might injure my muscles or even my bones. After every exercise, I take a rest and drink water to say hydrated and keep my body functioning.
