Explanation:We eat together at the dining room table every day. At night we have candlelight dinners. We pray together.

We go on family holidays and we have developed a love of the outdoors in our children. We love mountain hikes, game reserve trips, fishing, swimming in the sea and beach holidays.

We love music and sometimes take out the old turntable and listen to old Long Playing vinyl records while we sing along and dance.

We like ball games and swimming in our pool.

The kids know their friends are always welcome and there's always food and snacks for everyone. Their friends are like my own children.

We like exploring the world and spend many nights looking at the stars and moon through binoculars. We love events like an eclipse, we even saw the International Space station cross above our house.

We enjoy watching aircraft (we're on the flight path to the International Airport), so most planes cross our house and we know what time which flight comes in to land.

We are avid birders, we invite birds to our garden with breadcrumbs and fruit that we put out for them. We watch and identify the birds at our bird restaurant. We also each have a ‘personal lifelong bird list’ of birds that we have seen and where we saw them. It remains a goal to expand on our list. We also love bird song and identifying which birds are in the garden by their chirping.

We used to watch TV together every night, but now everyone has a Smart phone and we watch YouTube video's which we share if it's interesting.
