I am writing to you because I would like to discuss with you my living situation. At the moment I am living in a hostel moving from one place to the next. I absolutely hate this life. I have no privacy, and no safe place to keep my things as I have no room my belongings keep getting stolen, and I don’t have much as it is.
With this in mind it is very difficult to go out looking for a job, and when I get a chance I have no good clothes to work in. I am telling you this because you can help. I’m not asking for money I would never but I’m asking for my old room back it will give me safety for me at night, and for my things so that I can go out looking for a good job.
If you do this for me when I get a job I will start to pay rent. You will give me the chance to get started. Please this is not the life for me.
I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to share some of the difficulties I've been facing here at the hostel. While I'm grateful for the opportunity to study and learn in this environment, it hasn't been without its challenges.
Living away from home has been a significant adjustment for me. The initial excitement of being independent was quickly replaced by the realization that managing daily tasks and responsibilities can be quite overwhelming. From keeping track of my laundry and meals to ensuring I have all the necessary supplies, I've had to learn to be more organized and self-reliant.
Another aspect that has been tough is the distance from family and friends. Being away from the familiar comfort of home has been emotionally taxing at times. Although technology helps me stay connected virtually, it's not the same as having loved ones physically present to provide support during tougher moments.
Additionally, the academic workload has proven to be more challenging than I anticipated. Balancing classes, assignments, and studying while also managing other aspects of hostel life has pushed me to develop better time management skills. It's been a learning curve, and there have been moments when I felt overwhelmed.
But I want you to know that I am determined to overcome these difficulties. I'm taking each obstacle as an opportunity to grow and become more resilient. I've been seeking advice from seniors and making use of available resources to help me navigate through these challenges.
Your constant support, even from afar, gives me the strength to keep going. I'm learning to be more independent, responsible, and adaptable, and I believe these experiences will shape me into a stronger individual.
Thank you for always being there for me, Mom. Your words of encouragement and wisdom mean the world to me. I promise to keep working hard and making the most of this experience.
