Sub: Complaint about irregular water supply

Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw attention of the concerned authorities specially the water supply department towards the irregular water supply in our locality. I will be very grateful if you kindly publish this letter in your newspaper.

It has been 9 days, the people of our locality are facing difficulties due to the irregular water supply. The actual fixed time of supplying water in our locality is 8am to 9 am in the morning and 4pm to 5pm in the afternoon. But from these 9 days there are no fixed time. Sometimes the water come either in the morning or afternoon, so people faced problems before going to office or school or college due to the insufficient water for bathing and cooking. Otherwise water come just for half of a hour for which many people cannot store sufficient water and even the pressure of water is also very low for which water does not reach properly to the people of upper floors.

We have tried to contact with the water supply department but they did not respond seriously. I hope after noticing this letter the authority will take actions to solve the problem as soon as possible.
