With the use of any available materials at home, create a model of stages of meiosis. The number of chromosomes of your cell that will undergo meiosis is ten (2n=10). You need to show clearly the formation of tetrads, crossing over, and also the reduction division. After that, you have to create a video that explains the following questions with regard to your model.
Questions to be answered in your video:
1. How many tetrads (bivalents) are formed in your model? In what phase of your model did it appear?
2. Think about your model. Visually, what is the major difference between prophase I and prophase II?
3. Think about your model. Visually, what is the major difference between metaphase I and metaphase II?

2. Prophase 1 and 2 is that genetic recombination occurs through crossing overs and the “Chiasmata” formation during prophase 1 whereas no genetic recombination is noticed at the prophase 2.
