In my opinion Sex education in the Philippines is treated like a taboo because most of the people are not open minded to such topic, others find it funny because of such thing called as “pleasure”. Sex Education is important too, because it explains further or deeper more about the human body. Sex education is not only about physical like sexual reproduction, reproductive health, safe sex, birth controls, etc. It is also linked to emotional/mental relations and or responsibilities, which contributes to both physical and mental health, because both of them are connected to one another too.
Well I think people some filipinos are not open minded and they think sex education it's not really good to talk about that subject that's why it's treated like taboo.
(that's my opinion so if I'm wrong kindly guide me)
