Older tradition was, in India, a woman job was to run the family & a mans job was to bring in enough resources (money). Women were not educated well & where will they find work other than labor force. Also, women to bear children & supervise all aspects of running the family. This is an a very important aspect of a family. Well to do families would have cooks & servants and for their services they would be paid in money & barter. Our family cooks, their families and our servants had accommodation in our family including food. It was a good deal for the ladies of the family & they never complained and were happy with their children and family. Nobody complained.
This decision of these jobs is not fair at all. Because this a sort of discrimination. The attitude of society for boys and girls is same....
