The Black Bellied Malkoha is going extinct because of the rapid decrease and loss of lowland forests in large areas of the Sundaic lowlands.
The Dodo bird already went extinct in 1681 due to over-harvesting, habitat loss, and competition with new animals.
The Yellow-Crowned Barbet is going extinct simply because of habitat loss. The lowland moist forests and swamps it lives in are being cleared because of human inhabitation.
