Amongst the given choices above the best answer for me is D. when you mix salt and pepper.
WHY?
Salt and pepper are both solid in form, meaning they are both solutes, and if we try to mix them, neither of the two will dissolve and so we can't produce a saturated solution. These substances will just pile up.
Actually this question is a bit hard, because letter B. might also be correct, adding coffee powder to water doesn't automatically produce a saturated solution right? Unless the coffee is too many for water to contain to the point that it can't dissolve any more coffee powder.
