When P(x) is divided by x-r and the remainder is equal to 0, it means that? A. P(x) is a factor of x-r B. x-r is a factor of P(x) C. x-r is divisible by P(x) D. x-r is the only factor of P(x)
it is letter B, because the said p(x) is equal to zero through the use of x-r. thus, x-r is a factor of p(x)

we cannot say that it is only the factor of the p(x) because there are lot of possibilities na hindi lang yung x-r yung makaka factor-out sa p(x)
