For the first study, it is vital for the investigator to see the test scores of both the groups to evaluate the teaching methods. In this case, the new teaching method was found to be effective from the scores collected. Also, I believe the level of
teaching skills/motivation of each instructor is crucial in the evaluation of effectiveness in this study. Another factor to be considered would be the size of each group because the larger the group, the lesser effective the teaching method would be.
-In the second study, the main information to be collected by the investigator would be the level of motivation of the students in each fitness group. Also, it would be vital to know if the groups took the pills assigned as directed. I believe the time of administration of the pills would also help in the evaluation of the result.
