1. RETAW- can break rocks in different ways. The strong waves
hitting the rocks can break it. Water can seep into the cracks of the rocks.
2. DWIN- is another agent of weathering. As the wind blows, it
carries sand or small rock particles that scratch the rock's surface.
3. RETURAPEMET- when rocks are exposed to varying temperature,
it expands. If rocks are exposed to a low temperature, it contracts.
4. SPLANT- some plants, like lichens, ferns and mosses can also

weathering. As burrowing animals dig deeper, they cause rocks to break into
