The 3 laws of refraction are as follows : First law of refraction state that incident ray , refracted ray and the normal at the point of incidence all lies in a same plane. Second lawstates that angle of incidence and angle of refraction is constant which is also known as Snell's law.
1. THE INCIDENT RAY ,REFRACTED RAY AND THE NORMAL ALL LIE IN THE SAME PLANE.
2.(A RAY OF LIGHT TRAVELLING FROM A REARER MEDIUM TO A DENSER MEDIUM BEND TOWARD THE NORMAL•) (A RAY GOING FROM A DENSER MEDIUM TO A RARER MEDIUM BEND AWAY FROM THE NORMAL•)
3. THE RATIO OF SIN i TO SIN r IS A CONSTANT AND THIS CONSTANT I'D CALLED REFRACTIVE INDEX OF THE SECOND MEDIUM, WITH RESPECT TO THE FIRST MEDIUM.
