As we all know, naming could be magical — voice a name and it is defined in the circle, the voicing of your presence; or in the ancient context: “say it, call it, it will come forth” — and, to the ancient Greeks and many other early literate cultures, up through the Renaissance and striding on through the Industrial Age — knowing the true name still has power.
Being one that is perpetually turning over rocks, moving logs and digging in, to see more, I believe in excavating meaning. In anything, in everything.
