What is the difference between agnostic and atheist?
Agnosticism refers to the acceptance of our own weakness regarding our inability as a human to potentially conceive the real nature of the universe, thus it avoids any conclusions wether there’s a God or none.
While atheism is as simple as not believing the concept of God mainly rejecting any supernatural notions but having a strong reliance on empirical evidences and scientific facts.
Like for example:
Is there a God?
Theist: I believe
Atheist: I don’t
Agnostic: We have no proof and it’s impossible to find any.
An atheist is someone who does not believe in God, whereas an agnostic does not believe it is possible to know for certain that God exists. It is possible to be both—an agnostic atheist does not believe but also believes we will never know whether a god exists.
