Common nouns are generic things that don't have a name like a book, or a movie, or your teacher. Proper nouns, however, are nouns that are named, and always starts with a capitalized letter like 'D0rk Diaries' (name of a book), or 'Spiderman: Homecoming' (name of a movie), or 'Mrs. Reyes' (name of a teacher). You can answer your question by asking yourself 'What is your favorite book?'. Mine is 'The Little Prince' ^_^
