However millions of people are happy who have little or nothing. Keep in mind that wealth has many different meanings to different people. Many studies have proved that being able to smile, laugh, giggle and find the funny in life positively affects our health. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and I can tell you when I am having painful flare up I do whatever I can to laugh and be happy. And it works to ease the pain. I will make it a point to call my friend Barbara in Tennessee because I know I will laugh really hard with her on the phone. I will not sit and give in to my pain I turn on something funny on TV or watch a movie or spend time with funny people. Happiness and having a positive outlook changes your perception. You look at life and life situations differently. When I am laughing, I am not in pain.
