SOLUBILITY
Solubility is the ability of solute to be dissolved in the solvent such as water. There are several factors that could affect the solubility of the substance. First of all is the temperature of the solvent. When the solvent's temperature is high or let us say it is dissolved in a hotter solvent, it dissolves the solute faster than in lower temperature or in a cooler or less hotter solvent. Second factor is the rate of stirring. The faster you stir the solution, the faster the solute dissolves. Third factor is the surface area of the solute. The larger the surface area exposed by the solute, the faster it will be dissolved. The fourth factor is the viscosity of the solvent. Viscosity is the property of liquid to resist flow. In simple terms, it is how thick the liquid is. The more viscous the liquid is, the slower it dissolves the solute. Another factor is the amount of solute being dissolved. The smaller the amount, the faster it will be dissolved.
There are still other factors affecting solubility in terms of the chemical composition of the substances and more properties.
