My experience in taking personal development as a course or subject assist me to become the better or best version of myself by which; I have learned a lot of things about me including how important the people I love to me and how can affect me physically and mentally. I have realized that I can still change for the better and there are things that constantly change and develop as we grow old. There are things that must be left in the past for these things you cannot control and renew. Scars from our past can effectuate us to grow and learn. Experiences can leads us to maturity while maturity can bring adulthood and full growth. Studying this subject can help me to monitor my mental and physical health. Personal development is about improving the relationship with yourself. It at least normally starts there. When you improve the relationship with yourself, we are naturally drawn to our relationships we already have with others also improves. The people I attract are also more likely to be better for me. I attract people who are at my level so once I start raising my level, the people who come into my life are going to be at my higher level. Personal development can also be dedicated to improving relationships with others whether it be intimate relationships, friends and family, work relationships, or relationships to people and communities. Relationships and communication are topics within personal development. With more happiness, better relationships, achievements, and a better you, your quality of life improves. Your life becomes richer in either or both the physical sense and the metaphorical sense. For me, the main goal our personal development is to be happier. Naturally, when we improve ourselves, our life, our relationships, achieve our goals, we become happier. This doesn’t always happen right away or all the time, but it happens in time with consistent and deliberate personal development.
