Ok, if the mixture that is given to the questions is seawater or saline,
3. The distillate was formed beacuse the water evaporated and turned into the vapor. The vapor touches a solid that's why the distillate formed in the lid.
4. The seawater inside the pot decreased as the distillate forms subtly.
5. (not sure about my answer in this part.) The empty bowl slowly having drops of distilled water.
6. The remaining mixture contains solute (salt) and the other one (distillate) don't contain any of the solute because it has left the solute in the remaining mixture making the remaining ones concentrated.
7. Distillation and Evaporation.

1. I can produce a fresh dirinking water by making a distillate.
~~Sorry if I'm mistaken for the solutions I just thought it was saline.
